Who am I?
I am Joana Klymenkova, a music artist from Ukraine. Three years ago, when war broke out, my life was turned upside down, forcing me to leave my home and start anew in America.
Through all the chaos and uncertainty, one thing remained clear—I didn't want my life to be just about myself. I wanted to create something meaningful, something that could echo beyond my own existence. For me, that path has always been music.
Now, as I rebuild in a new country, I am dedicating my voice to those who have been silenced. I want my music to tell stories of the displaced, the forgotten, the ones who fight for freedom but may never be heard.
I believe that music is like letters: "When I'm gone, they'll stay." And through my songs, I hope to leave a message that lasts—a message of resilience, remembrance, and hope.
